Rules and Regulations

1. Admission Rules

Admissions to all UG, PG, and Junior College courses are governed by Savitribai Phule Pune University and Maharashtra State Board regulations.

  All admissions granted are provisional until final eligibility approval is issued by SPPU / Maharashtra State Board.

  Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified for their respective program (WBAT, Computer Science, Commerce, Junior College).

2. Document Verification

  Original certificates (SSC/HSC marksheets, TC/LC, Migration Certificate, Caste Validity if applicable) must be produced for physical verification.

  Submission of forged or false documents will lead to immediate cancellation of admission and statutory reporting.

3. Attendance Requirements

  As per SPPU norms, a minimum of 75% attendance in both theory lectures and practical lab sessions is mandatory to be eligible for university examinations.

  Leave applications on medical grounds must be submitted with valid doctor certificates within 3 days of resuming college.

4. Student Discipline

  Students must maintain high standards of decorum, respect faculty and fellow classmates, and refrain from any disruptive campus activities.

  Use of mobile phones inside classrooms, central library, and laboratories during instruction hours is strictly prohibited.

  Internal assessments, term-end tests, practical viva-voce, and SPPU semester examinations must be attended punctually with valid hall tickets and ID cards.

  Any malpractice during examinations will be dealt with under SPPU unfair means disciplinary committee rules.

7. Fee Regulations

  Tuition and administrative fees must be paid as per the schedule declared by the institute office for the 2026–27 academic session.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  Admission cancellation and fee refund requests are processed strictly in accordance with SPPU and Maharashtra DHE notification schedules.

9. Uniform Rules

  Students must wear the prescribed institute uniform on designated days, formal college functions, and practical laboratory sessions.

10. Identity Card Rules

• 1

  Every student must display their official GARTI Identity Card around their neck at all times while inside the institute premises.

11. Laboratory Safety Rules

• 1

  Wearing lab aprons, safety goggles, and proper footwear is mandatory in Wine Technology, Chemistry, and Microbiology laboratories. Equipment handling must follow safety manuals under staff supervision.

12. Student Grievance Procedure

  Students may submit grievances to the Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) or Women Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell (ICC) for confidential resolution.

13. Applicable SPPU Rules

• 1

  Academic ordinances, credit system rules, and passing standards issued by Savitribai Phule Pune University apply to all degree programs.

14. Applicable Maharashtra Government Rules

• 1

  Reservation policies, Mahaship guidelines, and statutory educational orders passed by the Higher & Technical Education Dept., Govt. of Maharashtra, are strictly followed.
